There is the Festival in Hida Furukawa, 19th and 20th April.

Takayama Festival and Hida Furukawa Festival are bit similar,
Floats, Lion Dance and Night Parade...

In Hida Furukawa Festival, you can see...

But with one big difference..
Furukawa festival has unique night parade, called "Okishi daiko"

Around 300 half naked mans are carrying drums through the streets
and they are totally drunk!!! That's so funny!!

The events start from 8 am till late night,
it will be a long day...but between the events,
you can enjoy the street foods and sight seeing!!!
