Mt Norikura will be opened  from 15th May

Norikura mountains isn’t as crowded as Kamiko-chi and has some splendid mountain scenery,easy hiking trails.

A bus takes you to a bus stop called Tatamidaira(2700m above the sea level).When you get off the bus .you can enjoy　alpine plants and hiking. Also you can see snow walls on the way to bus stop until middle June.Why don’t you do a day trip for Norikura.? The hiking route is easy

Kurobe Alpine route has been opened for this year.

The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route is a famous mountain sightseeing route between
Toyama and Nagano.The whole route has been opened for this year

The route is just 37 km in length. It uses 7 different transports to cross the mountains with different modes, such as trolleybus ,ropeway, and walking.

All the transportation are expensive but it is worth going there once in a lifetime

The most interesting thing there in this season should be snow walls which are more than 10M.

Bus can go through the walls.

You can make a day trip from Takayama.

Opening Festival for Kamiko-chi (27th April)

Festival to mark the opening of the mountain climbing season in Kamikochi featuring ceremonies devoted to the safety of climbers and many entertainments.

Hirayu-otaki（waterfall)

Hi, I am Matsu from J-Hoppers Hida Takayama.
It is getting hot in Japan.
Takayama recorded 33℃ highest temperature 3days ago for this year


There are many waterfalls around Takayama.
I want you to tell you one of them called Hirayu-otaki.
This beautiful waterfall drops 64 meters.

Also there are many onsens in Hirayu area.
You can go to a onsen on the way back to Takayama.























Access: 1 hour from Takayama by Nohi bus.
Get off bus @ [Hirayu camp jyou mae.]
