Yamano Hotel Mixed Onsen

Hello,I am Matsu from J-Hoppers Hida Takayama.


I went to yamano-hotel to bath in a Mixed onsen with snow.

It is located at the bottom of Shinhotaka Mountain.

The location is really nice and the onsen is a nice warm temperature .

Females can rent a large towel for covering themselves.

I think this onsen is the one that foreigners should visit when you come to Takayama

Just to inform you that opening hours for outsiders are just from 11:00~1400.

Access:90minutes (by Bus) Takayama⇒Hirayu⇒　Yamano　Hotel　（Shinhotaka　line)

Shirahone Onsen（white colored onsen)

I went to Shirahone onesen which is located at the bottom of Mt Norikura

The Onsen is known for white colored and hidden onsen.

It is said that it attracts many visitors for a day-trip.
There are about 8 ryokans that allows you to take their own onsen.I bathed in two of the onsesn.Also some of the onsens are mixed onsen.

I enjoyed the onsens with autumn colored leaves.

Access 90minutes from Takayama by car.
