Rice harvesting in kurumada, wheel-shaped rice fields （Hida no Sato ）

The method of planting rice plants concentrically around a rod standing at the center of the rice paddy is a very rare method in Japan and is a unique method developed in Hida.There will be the harvest festival at Hida Folk village (Hida no Sato) on 21st September.
