New Year Fireworks

Have you ever seen winter fireworks ?

Here in Takayama, the city launches beautiful "Hanabi" to celebrate the new year coming.

The fireworks are launched from the Sky park at 20:00.

Good places to see it : the train station, the city hall and near the river.

By the way do you know how to wish a good year in Japanese ?

• "あけましておめでとう！/Ake mashite omedetou ! " it says the 1st of January,
• "良いお年を！/ Yoi o toshi wo !" can be said any day.
