Toyama and Nagano.The whole route has been opened for this year
The route is just 37 km in length. It uses 7 different transports to cross the mountains with different modes, such as trolleybus ,ropeway, and walking.
All the transportation are expensive but it is worth going there once in a lifetime
The most interesting thing there in this season should be snow walls which are more than 10M.
Bus can go through the walls.
You can make a day trip from Takayama.
