★Access:　Suttle bus from Takayama bus center(30 minutes)★
＊　only weekends available

To go      : Departure  →　Takayama bus center 9:10 for the skisort
To return :Departure →　Mount deus 16:40for Takayama bus center


There is a station called Hida ichinomiya near Mondeus.
There is free shuttle bus(need a advance reservation) from the station for Mondeus (return to the station as well)



1 day lift ticket included in bus ticket: 2500yen(week day)
1 day lift ticket included in bus ticket: 3500yen(weekend and holiday)
1000yen (Special day)Tuesday and Wednesday)



You can take a lesson of skiing ↓

      Adult                  　→3500yen for half day.  4500yen for one day
 Kid（from 4 years old)   →4000yne for half day.  5500yne for one day

Nakao snow hut festival

This is Matsu.

It's February.This month is the coldest month in Japan.

There are winter festival going on across Japan such as Sapporo Yuki Matsuri.

There is also snow hut festival at Nakao onsen in Takayama.

Local people make some big snow huts.They entertain you .

Iced Hirayu-Otaki waterfall light-up festival

Hi,I am Matsu from J-Hoppers Hida Takayama.

There is a waterfall called Hirayu Otaki ,50minutes away from Takayama.

The waterfall drops 64 meter and gets iced during this time.

There will be Iced Hirayu-Otaki waterfall light-up festival from Feb 15th~25th.

There are hot meals offered by vendors.

Also there are many nice Onsens in Hirayu.

You can go to a onsen on the way back to Takayama.

Hida Folk Village (Play In The Snow)

It's covered with the snow at the Folk Village now.
There's bamboo skis and box sleds available for rental (free of charge)
On weekends, baked mochi (rice cake) and assorted pickles served for free (12:30 ~15:00)

When: January 15th ~ February 28th
Time: 8:30 ~ 17:00
Fee: 700 yen (100 yen off with a coupon) we have a coupon for you!
Access: 10 minutes bus ride from Takayama Bus Terminal (200 yen for one way)
30 minutes walk from Hida Takayama J-Hoppers
